The Eagle Pub, January 2008

THE EAGLE HAS CLOSED! Yes, I drove passed it the other day and noticed it all boarded up! Matt W confirmed it shut it's doors just before Christmas, with no idea of what is to become of it (Crappy American fast-food chain or flats is a good bet?). Such a shame as it is a nice old building. Matt and I have both looked at the pub sign too, be shame to see that on the scrap heap, what with all the memories etc (nudge nudge, wink wink!)...
